It’s both exciting and terrifying and I will sorely miss teaching. So while I’m still here, do attend my classes because they are now on limited offer! Hope to see you in the kitchen!

Not only are they delicious, mushrooms are high in protein, iron, and B vitamins, low in calories, actually help lower cholesterol, and eliminate toxins from the body. They are a rich source of glutamic acid (natural MSG) and so enhance the flavour of any savoury food.

PINOY VEGAN EATS

One of the challenges of adopting a plant-based diet in this country is recreating more healthful versions of traditional familiar foods. In this class, we explored plant-based renditions of favorite popular Pinoy dishes.

JUICE UP, SMOOTHIE DOWN

WHEN: January 18, Wednesday, 10am-12pm

One of the easiest ways to eat more veggies without really thinking about it is to drink them. In this informative 2-hour workshop, learn how your current lifestyle and diet can either be toxic or detoxifying to your health, and what you can do to change it. Discover how fruits and vegetables in liquid form can balance acidity, boost your immunity, increase energy, and support healing from lifestyle diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Learn how to incorporate superfoods and how to make juicing and smoothie-ing an effortless daily habit. This is one of my popular classes and one I don’t repeat too often. At the end of class, you’ll know what fruit and vegetables to use depending on what type of healing you need.

ON THE MENU:

5 juices: Everyday Green, Immunity Elixir, Iron Boost / Time of the Month, Skin Tonic, Kidney Love

2-3 smoothies: Basic Green, Protein Berry Milkshake, Frozen hot chocolate

Bonus: DIY cashew milk
