One of the challenges of adopting a plant-based diet in this country is recreating more healthful versions of traditional familiar foods. Filipino cuisine is characterized by bold flavors — sour, sweet, bitter, salty, spicy. But going veg doesn’t have to mean turning your back on culture! In this class, we explored plant-based renditions of favorite popular Pinoy dishes.

Pasta is a staple in Italian cuisine because it cooks quickly and fills up your appetite quite nicely. But most pasta sauces can be quite rich and unhealthy. In this class, discover how to make healthified versions of pasta favourites without sacrificing flavour, using vegetables, soy, nuts, and herbs.

One of the easiest ways to eat more veggies without really thinking about it is to drink them. In this informative 2-hour workshop, learn how your current lifestyle and diet can either be toxic or detoxifying to your health, and what you can do to change it. Discover how fruits and vegetables in liquid form can balance acidity, boost your immunity, increase energy, and support healing from lifestyle diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Learn how to incorporate superfoods and how to make juicing and smoothie-ing an effortless daily habit. This is one of my popular classes and one I don’t repeat too often. At the end of class, you’ll know what fruit and vegetables to use depending on what type of healing you need.

Exciting times ahead in February!

Cook timeless PASTA favorites with a healthy, plant-based twist on the 8th, Sunday (Makati). Learn how to make gluten-free ravioli from scratch!

Compose creative and colorful SALADS that want to be eaten on the 8th, Saturday (Alabang).

The ever popular PIZZA class comes back on the 12th, Wednesday (Alabang), both with whole wheat and gluten-free variations.

The MEDITERRANEAN is known for its naturally healthful yet flavorful dishes – discover how to make them on the 15th, Saturday (Makati).

Recreating THAI cuisine may seem complicated but it is actually quite simple once you familiarize yourself with its key ingredients. And making traditional dishes with a vegan twist is doable and delicious! Learn how to on the 16th, Sunday (Makati).

GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN SAUSAGES — an impossible dream? They certainly are not! In this class, learn a master sausage recipe using vegan, gluten-free ingredients and how to flavor them in multiple ways. We will turn the sausages into 3 dishes. This is happening on the 19th, Wednesday (Alabang).

And lastly, make vegetarian sushi that doesn’t suck (and isn’t composed solely of cucumber), plus other delicious things like miso-glazed vegetables and an enoki mushroom sauce poured over tofu in A TASTE OF JAPAN on the 26th, Wednesday (Alabang).
