Cook to fight Cancer benefit workshop on October 1, Tuesday

In case you didn’t see my last post, my October class schedule is up! Check it out here.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’m holding a “Cook to fight Cancer” benefit workshop on October 1 Tuesday, in Alabang.

Learn how to prepare health-promoting, nourishing and delicious food-as-medicine to relieve or prevent cancer treatment symptoms. This cooking demonstration will focus on high-quality whole foods that improve immunity response, possess anti-cancer and antioxidant properties, help reduce inflammation, aid digestion, and replace minerals. You will also enjoy a fabulous vegetarian meal to boot.

Proceeds for this workshop will go to FAMCOHSEF (Family Cooperation Health Services Foundation), a non-profit organization that provides the underprivileged with education and training with regards to health and environmental sanitation.

For more information on FAMCOHSEF, check out their website here.

Space is limited and RSVP is highly encouraged. Please contact Mara at 0917-838-3398 or email
