Schedule of February classes

Catch these awesome classes this February!

Quinoa groupies, QUINOA COOKERY makes a comeback on Saturday the 2nd with creative cooking twists to the super grain. (gluten-free)

If cheese is holding you back from going plant-based, then VEGAN CHEESEFEST on Saturday the 9th is for you. (gluten-free option)

It can be challenging to feed veggies to kids with picky palates; learn a few tricks in KID-FRIENDLY FOOD on Wednesday the 13th.

Go down the Mediterranean route in A TASTE OF GREECE on Saturday the 16th. (gluten-free option)

And Filipino breakfast favorites get veganized in NO MUSS, NO FUSS PINOY BRUNCH on Wednesday the 20th.

You are cordially invited to a PAWS benefit brunch

To the animal lovers and the herbivores, the veg-curious and those who just happen to enjoy good food — take note! Here is a chance to fill your bellies with deliciousness while supporting a cause dear to my heart. Also if you haven’t been to any of my cooking classes and are curious, this is your chance to taste my food and see if healthy (vegan!) food can indeed taste pleasurable.

RSVP is much appreciated. Fake RSVP’s aren’t. Seating limited to 25. When you RSVP I will share with you the secret location.

This is in celebration of a couple of things:

  1. Vegetarian awareness month
  2. World Vegetarian Day (today)
  3. My b-day
  4. My vegetarian anniversary
  5. A meal where everyone eats meat free is always something to celebrate :)

October schedule of classes

We’ve got an action-packed schedule of classes for this special month!

Experience plant-based Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines at their finest on the 6th, Saturday and 10th, Wednesday.

Learn creative ways to cook quinoa, a superfood grain from South America on the 18th, Thursday.

Beat inflammation (and even reverse it) through food on the 23rd, Tuesday.

Chocolate gets the royal treatment on the 24th, Wednesday.

Go gaga over shrooms (and learn why they are sooo good for us) on the 27th, Saturday.

And finally, get bodaciously barbecued on the 31st, Wednesday.

*Watch out for a special cancer-fighting cooking demonstration and benefit dinner in Edgy Veggy Cafe in Pasig on the 16th, Tuesday, in partnership with Edgy Veggy, I Can Serve Foundation, and Ministry of Mushrooms‘s Shrooms Go Pink breast cancer awareness project.

Moving forward from action-packed January and February, I present to you the schedule for March cooking classes!

Learn how to compose stunningly delicious sandwiches in Shack of vegan sandwiches (3rd, Saturday).

Pair up your new knowledge of sandwiches with Soups to make you sing (7th, Wednesday).

If you often crave sweet brunch-y type meals then perhaps No muss, no fuss (sweet) brunch 3.0 is your cup of tea (10th, Saturday).

Get your sexy on with Dessert mayhem: sexy low-fat desserts (14th, Wednesday).

We take a two week break and proceed with rusticity in A taste of the Mediterranean (28th, Wednesday).

In the kitchen: No muss, no fuss brunch II

After a million years, I’m beginning to catch up on the backlog of class photos. Sorry, folks.

“No muss, no fuss brunch II” class was held last October 1st, 2011. It was amazing. That is all. Photos shall speak for themselves :)

Learn from Marie Gonzalez, chief vegetable whisperer and proprietress of Kitchen Revolution, an Alabang-based gourmet food business that specializes in holistic, plant-based cooking classes, catering, and consulting. Marie graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, a health-supportive classical culinary school in New York City. She has trained in Pure Food and Wine (a raw vegan restaurant) and Dirt Candy (a vegetarian restaurant), both in New York.
